This product is awful. Yes, they have some great tech in the app and a great quality camera, but it fails at its basic function. The notifications are sporadic - sometimes I’m notified of sound and movement, other times I am not. The camera does not work on the Alexa show, at all! It might do for a few minutes and then it just says buffering on the screen - there is no warning to let you know it’s stopped working, it’s just silent so you are left assuming your baby is sound asleep until you notice it is buffering. So so unsafe it’s scary. And not at all reliable - so basically a useless product. It works better as background sound on your phone - more reliable - but drains your battery. Last night my baby cried for 2 hours without us knowing. The Alexa was buffering (of course) and my phone (which was playing the Nanit sound) had died despite being on charge. You can imagine how we felt when my partner woke to go to the bathroom and heard the crying (we are on a different floor so not easily heard without a monitor). Don’t waste your money!
Lost two years worth of footage from my daughter. Imagine how unsafe your baby's data would be.
I’m so upset w the customer service of this product. I wanted so badly to like this product. My nanny and I tested the red alert to make sure it would go off of the baby was not breathing for longer than :20 seconds. It went off 10 min later. I called customer service and was on hold for 38 minutes. The owlet has amazing customer service. Better product. It’s a shame especially at close to $400 price point this product does not have a team that supports it.
This thing was awesome when we first set it up - good picture quality, alerts, insights
However, after a few weeks it would just stop working intermittently for the next few weeks which requires you to restart/reset all the time (which isn't easy with a sleeping baby). And now even after restarts/resets it doesn't work at all. Unfortunately customer support is horrendous - we've called them 3 times and after troubleshooting they claimed to send us a new one which never showed up. Now they do not answer any of our support emails, so we're stuck. So don't buy unless you're willing to risk wasting money!
Nanit support completely unresponsive after 3 weeks and multiple emails!? My camera has a faulty power connection straight out of the box (brand new). I requested support, I requested a replacement and finally a refund. No response!! This is unacceptable business practices. These products aren't cheap.

Camera I brought was faulty out the box, terrible customer service, can’t get hold of them got a response after 5 emails two weeks later asking if I still had the same problem. In this time the camera has completely stopped working doesn’t even turn on as one of the connecting power pins has fallen off! Sent a scathing email requesting a refund, after another 2 weeks I was sent a reply denying my requests and asking me to do some steps to fix it. I’ve had a month to try every single troubleshooting fix which I explained in the email. Biggest waste of money I have ever spent! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
